Loosing Stomach Fat

How to burn fat in your stomach the right way

Everybody wants to know how to burn fat the right way. But before knowing the different ways on how to burn off fat from the stomach area, let us review how the body processes the food that we take in.

10% of the calories being burned by our body daily come from the food that we eat each day. Your fat cells cannot burn calories, but your muscle cells do. Thus we need to move our muscles more often to burn fat. Fat burning does not only occur after exercise, it extends up to 1 hour after we stop moving.

If you want to lose weight the healthy way, you should not lower the amount of calories that you take to the minimum level. Once you starve yourself, you will deprive your body of essential calories which can result to slowing of our metabolic rate.

Losing weight the right way greatly involves the diet. We need to have a balanced diet. For weight loss to occur, we should have in mind the three components of a healthy weight loss diet, that is, low carbs, high protein and moderate fat.

  1. Low carbs

In order for you to lose weight, you should lower your intake of carbohydrates. However you should not lower carbohydrate intake to the minimum level. Lowering your carbohydrate intake will prevent adding fat deposits to your already fat stomach. This is because when you take in carbohydrates, they are being broken down into glucose. The body processes excess glucose in such a way that it stores glucose as fat in free spaces such as the abdomen. You will surely be abundant with glucose but you will suffer from jelly bellies and jiggling flabs.

A high blood glucose level after a carbohydrate rich meal can also make your body adjust to a high sugar state. A few hors after a carbohydrate rich meal, your blood glucose levels will be low and you will find yourself be craving for more food and sweets, thus repeating the cycle again.

  1. High protein

A high protein diet lessens your craving for sugars and sweets and provides materials for building and repairing body tissues. Proteins can also make you feel full so that your food intake will be lessened and you will surely lose weight.

  1. Moderate Fat

Fat is not at all that bad. There are many beneficial effects of fats which we are not aware of.

First of all, fat in the stomach slows digestion thus making it a principal energy source, and will not make you go hungry for a long time. Secondly, fat is an important component of the cell membrane and helps in the absorption of vitamins A, D, E and K. Fat, in the form of cholesterol, is the main component of reproductive hormones which play an important role in fertility.

We can choose consuming fats which are healthy for the body, such as monounsaturated fat and omega 3 fatty acids. These fats decrease the risk of heart disease by lowering the bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol.

If you follow these diet tips, you are guaranteed to lose fat without feeling weak and deprived of calories. Let this healthy diet be your way of life!
